4 Fall Mimosa Recipes to Celebrate the Season

Collage of four fall mimosas - apple cider, white grape cranberry, pumpkin beermosa, pear.

Who’s ready for Thanksgiving next week? I know I’m not—it always sneaks up on me. I didn’t even realize the Friendsgiving I’m attending is only two days away, and I’m on cocktail duty. Since everyone will be cooking together in the morning, I thought mimosas would be an easy, festive choice to start the day.

But I wanted something seasonal, so I skipped the usual orange juice and focused on fall flavors like apple, pear, and white grape with a touch of cranberry. For the non-champagne fans, I included a pumpkin-ale beermosa too.

Two champagne flutes filled with white grape mimosas, topped with fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.

I recently returned from a long trip to Iceland and I’m still jetlagged and in vacation mode—running out to buy bottles felt like too much effort. That’s when I used an alcohol delivery service to get champagne and beer delivered right to my door. It made hosting so much easier.

If you want another elegant drink to serve with these mimosas, try a simple fall spritz for variety. Now, here are four easy fall mimosa variations you can make for brunch or Thanksgiving entertaining.

Vanilla Bean Pear Mimosa

Rim a champagne flute with vanilla bean sugar. Pour 3 oz pear nectar into the glass, then top with 3 oz chilled champagne. Garnish with a pear slice. The vanilla-sugar rim adds a delicate sweetness that pairs beautifully with the pear nectar.

Apple Cider Mimosa

For a cozy fall twist, dip the rim of a flute in water and coat it with cinnamon-sugar. Fill the glass half full with apple cider, then top with champagne. Garnish with a thin apple slice for a festive, aromatic touch.

White Grape & Cranberry Mimosa

Fill a champagne flute halfway with chilled white grape juice, then top with champagne. Add several fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary for a classic, holiday-friendly presentation. The grapes keep the drink bright while the cranberries and rosemary give it seasonal flair.

Pumpkin Ale Beermosa

If you prefer beer, try a pumpkin-ale beermosa. Dip the rim of the flute in water and coat with pumpkin pie spice. Pour 3 oz apple cider into the glass, then top with 3 oz pumpkin beer—Rogue Pumpkin Ale or a similar seasonal brew works nicely. This variation is fun and unexpected for fall brunches.

I hope you enjoy these fall mimosa ideas. Do you make any special Thanksgiving cocktails? I’d love to hear your favorites—especially any crowd-pleasers that survive the family dinner conversations.
