On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m prioritizing mostly newer spots, but there are a few places I’ve visited before that still feel fresh enough to include. One of those staples is Beaumont — I picked up a breakfast burrito there recently and knew it deserved a spot on this list.

I love Beaumont for two main reasons: convenience and freshness. If you spend time playing in the Wasatch Front — hiking, skiing, or exploring the canyons — Beaumont is a fantastic place to fuel up before heading out. I often grab a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through makes it quick and accessible without sacrificing quality. I’ll admit I enjoy a drive-through burrito from many Mexican spots, but those can be overly greasy and leave me feeling off when I’m about to exert myself. Beaumont strikes a better balance.

The Beaumont breakfast burrito is built with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. What elevates it, though, is the sauce — because the truth is a great breakfast burrito often comes down to the dressing. Beaumont’s creamy tomatillo escabeche-style sauce gives the burrito a bright, tangy finish that ties all the flavors together.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers much more than a great breakfast burrito. Their coffee and pastries are solid, and the burrata salad is a standout if you’re looking for something lighter or shareable. Beaumont is consistent and dependable — a place you can count on for quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation.
One small caveat: good food draws crowds, and Beaumont gets busy, especially on weekends. You’ll often see people gathered outside. If you only want pastries and coffee, that’s easy to grab quickly or through the drive-through; but if you plan to sit and linger, expect a wait on busy weekend mornings. With a lovely patio and an attractively designed interior, it’s worth the time if you can spare it.
Beaumont remains one of my go-to stops before a day in the mountains or for a dependable neighborhood breakfast. If you haven’t tried their burrito and creamy tomatillo sauce yet, it’s worth a taste.
