There’s nothing more magical at Christmas than candlelight. Enjoy a classic candlelit tour of a Southern home beautifully decorated for the holidays.

Christmas is just a few days away, and the house is glowing with candlelight, twinkle lights, and the warm fire in the hearth.

AnnMarie and I are finishing 2019 by sharing candlelight tours of our homes, each room dressed for the season. For me, the soft glow of candles and a flickering fireplace makes the holiday feel most peaceful and meaningful.

The only lights you’ll notice are from twinkle lights, candles, and the fireplace—simple, warm, and inviting.

Tonight I’m letting the pictures, and one of my favorite seasonal songs, tell the story.

Silent Night is the hymn we sang every Christmas Eve as we lit candles for our church’s service. It always invites me to slow down and remember why we celebrate this beautiful time.
