Bagels have become a regular part of our breakfast routine. Instead of a savory preparation this time, I decided to try a sweet version using the apples in my fridge. These apple bagels are quick to assemble, subtly spiced, and delicious.
Method:
- Combine the diced apple, cinnamon, and sugar in a mixing bowl.
- Spread the apple mixture on one half of each bagel and sprinkle the grated cheese over the apples.
- Bake the bagel halves for 7–10 minutes, until the cheese melts and the apple mixture is warmed through.
