Hello everyone,
Just a quick update from my corner of the world.
We enjoyed a quieter weekend, which felt like a welcome relief.
Much of the time was spent gardening and taking in the slow but steady arrival of spring. The season is finally waking up.
This evening I went out at dusk to plant radishes, peas, and a few fresh herbs. The air was cool and the soil gave off that earthy scent that instantly transports me to P.’s grandmother’s back garden in Ireland.
There is something so restorative about digging my hands into the cool, dark earth at that hour.
It feels good to begin something new.
I also wanted to let you know that on Thursday, April 25th, I will be at the North End boutique Shake the Tree for a book signing. The event runs from 7 to 9 PM.
There will be locally inspired cocktails featuring Spindrift sodas mixed with Bully Boy vodka, free chair massages provided by Bodywaves Boston, and food samples to enjoy.
Hope to see you there!
