Copycat Chick-Fil-A Frosted Lemonade – a refreshing frozen drink made from fresh lemon juice, vanilla ice cream, a touch of sugar, and ice. An easy Chick-Fil-A copycat recipe you can make at home.
Copycat Chick-Fil-A Frosted Lemonade
I’ve been making a lot of frozen drinks lately and enjoying every minute of it. After trying fun recipes like Piña Colada Lime Coolers and Snickerdoodle Iced Coffee, I’m hooked on simple, flavorful chilled treats. This week has been busy with travel and recipe testing, but I wanted to share this easy, nostalgic frozen lemonade that’s perfect for warm days.
Full disclosure: I haven’t actually eaten at Chick-Fil-A, but this copycat version of their Frosted Lemonade has appeared in many reliable recipe sources and it tastes fantastic. It reminds me of the slushy lemonades from amusement parks when I was a kid, but the addition of vanilla ice cream makes it creamier and more indulgent—definitely next-level compared with the frozen lemonades I used to enjoy between rides at places like Cedar Point and King’s Island.

Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
Instructions
- In a pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Add the water, mix, and chill the lemon mixture for about one hour. Chilling helps prevent the ice cream from melting too quickly when you blend.
- Place the chilled lemon mixture and the vanilla ice cream into a blender. Blend until smooth and slushy.
- Pour into glasses, garnish with lemon slices if desired, and serve immediately.
