About this Peanut Butter Oreo Protein CREAMi
This CREAMi-style protein ice cream is inspired by Clean Simple Eats with one small change I prefer: after freezing, let the jar sit on the counter for about 15 minutes before processing. That short thaw gives a consistently smooth, scoopable texture on the first spin. If the mixture looks crumbly after spinning, it likely needed more thaw time — then add a splash of milk to help reach your desired creaminess.

Ingredients used to make this Parent Trap–inspired Protein Ice Cream
- 2% milk – The simple liquid base; 2% keeps it a touch lighter than cream while still delivering good texture.
- Clean Simple Eats Cookies N’ Cream Protein Powder – A cookies-and-cream protein powder works great here. Use the protein you already like if preferred.
- Powdered Peanut Butter – Lower in calories than traditional peanut butter and it blends smoothly with milk and protein powder.
- Oreo Thins – Any cookies-and-cream sandwich cookie will work for texture and that familiar flavor.
- Clean Simple Eats Sweet Classic Peanut Butter – Or use your favorite natural peanut butter for the topping.

Equipment
-
1 Ninja Creami (or similar ice cream maker)
Ingredients
CREAMi Base
- 12 oz 2% milk
- 2 scoops Cookies N’ Cream protein powder
- 1 tbsp powdered peanut butter
Toppings
- 4 Oreo cookie thins, crushed
- 1 tbsp peanut butter (divided)
Instructions
-
1. Add the milk, protein powder, and powdered peanut butter to a Ninja CREAMi jar (or similar freezer-safe container). Whisk or froth until smooth. Seal and freeze upright overnight.
-
2. Remove the jar from the freezer and let it sit on the counter for about 15 minutes to soften slightly. Process in the Ninja CREAMi on the “Lite Ice Cream” setting (or the setting recommended for your machine).
-
3. Divide into two servings. Top each portion with two crushed Oreo Thins and about 1/2 tablespoon peanut butter. If the texture is too crumbly after spinning, let it soften a few more minutes and re-spin or stir in a splash of milk to reach your preferred creaminess. Enjoy!
