Equipment

  • Jello mold
  • Medium saucepan
  • Whisk or spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 (3 oz) boxes cherry jello powder
  • 1 cup Coca‑Cola
  • 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple (drained)

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the cherry pie filling, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil over high heat and stir for about 2 minutes to dissolve the sugar.
  • Remove from heat and whisk in both packages of cherry jello powder until fully dissolved, about 2 minutes.
  • Place the saucepan in the refrigerator for 30–45 minutes, until the mixture is partially set but not firm. Do not let it set completely.
  • Remove the pan from the fridge and stir in the Coca‑Cola and the drained crushed pineapple until evenly combined.
  • Pour the mixture into your jello mold and cover with plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until completely set.
  • To serve, unmold onto a platter and slice as desired.

Tip: Use a warm, damp towel briefly around the outside of the mold to help release the jello if needed.
