From homemade fries to my robust pizza sauce, these super-cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Fries are the ultimate comfort food for a gloomy day. A blend of five cheeses and Italian herbs transforms crispy fries into an indulgent, family-style snack. Make a batch, queue up a movie or your favorite series, and dig in—forks recommended!
When life gets heavy my husband and I try to carve out small, joyful moments. These fries became part of our quick pick-me-up: a playful, comforting treat to lift our mood—if only for a little while. Sometimes the simplest pleasures, like a plate of melty, savory fries, can bring surprising cheer.
I like to start with a solid foundation: a generous pile of my Copycat Five Guys-style fries. They’re fried, seasoned, and the perfect vessel for pizza-style toppings. I give the fries a light dusting of garlic powder, salt, pepper, dried Italian seasoning, and dried basil so every bite has great flavor.
Next comes the sauce. I used my Spicy Robusto Pizza Sauce, but an Easy Quick Pizza Sauce works just as well. Spoon a half to a full cup of sauce over the fries—use more or less to suit your taste.
Now for the cheese: I pile on a combination of shredded mozzarella-provolone blend, sharp white cheddar, grated asiago, and grated parmesan. That mix of melty and sharp cheeses creates a rich, layered flavor that’s hard to resist. Add another sprinkle of the seasoning mix on top, then cover with chopped or sliced pepperoni.
For extra appeal and flavor, add a second light layer of cheese and pepperoni. That extra layer helps everything melt together and gives the finished dish a more polished look.
Pop the tray into a fully preheated 375°F oven and bake until the cheeses are completely melted and the pepperoni edges crisp slightly—typically 7–10 minutes depending on oven and cheese quantity. The house will fill with an irresistible pizza-like aroma.
When the fries come out, garnish with a bit of fresh parsley if you have it; a small sprig makes the dish look bright and inviting. Serve with extra pizza sauce on the side for dipping and plenty of napkins. These fries are best eaten straight from the pan with forks and good company.
These cheesy pepperoni pizza fries are easy to pull together and make a great party snack, movie-night treat, or a comforting pick-me-up when you need one. They taste like pizza without the cost or hassle of delivery, and they’re a fun way to share a casual, satisfying meal.
